Gyroids are a staple of the Animal Crossing series, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons is no exception. There are over 30 unique types of gyroids in New Horizons, all of which can be found throughout New Horizons' 2.0 update. Each comes with a distinct sound and look to help add variety to Animal Crossing: New Horizons' extensive customization options, allowing players to pick and choose which one best complements the build they're trying to create. For the first time in the series, players can even customize their colors, adding even more variety to the collection.

A brand-new DLC, Happy Home Paradise, also came out at the same time.
