Streamer and content creator Amouranth, who is simultaneously one of the top-performing and most controversial streamers on Twitch, was the most-watched streamer over the course of San Diego TwitchCon. The influencer and streamer managed to beat out other popular Twitch streamers like HasanAbi and Sodapoppin to take the lead for most hours viewed during the 3-day event.
Despite receiving multiple bans from Twitch, or perhaps bolstered by those bans, Amouranth has remained one of the most successful streamers on Twitch for several years and is currently the most-watched female streamer on the platform. During her time as a streamer, Amouranth has faced criticism from some viewers who dislike her often suggestive streams, feeling it undermines the gaming-focused origins of Twitch, as well as harassment from overzealous fans and stalkers. It was even reported recently that Amouranth was confronted by several stalkers at TwitchCon, showing the very real dangers that can come along with streaming success.

In a Tweet posted by the official account for Streams Charts, a company that provides analytical data about viewership on a variety of streaming platforms, Amouranth managed to blow past the competition and take the top spot for most hours watched during TwitchCon. At just under 436,000 hours watched over the course of the 3-day convention, Amouranth’s viewers watched nearly 60,000 hours more of her stream than her nearest competitor. These huge numbers come as the streamer claims that she's being censored on other platforms, with Amouranth recently saying that Twitter was censoring her posts.
