Amouranth Taking Break from Twitch Streaming
Amouranth is one of the world's most popular Twitch streamers, but she is taking a break from the platform and content creation in general. In a recent Twitch stream, Amouranth revealed that she is married and shared messages of her husband verbally abusing her. Amouranth disappeared from social media and Twitch for a short time in the aftermath of this stream, but recently returned to give fans an update on her situation.
In the initial Twitch stream, Amouranth revealed that her husband had a great deal of control over the couple's finances, to the point where her accounts were set up with two-factor authorization under his name. In some of the text messages that he allegedly sent, there were threats that he would waste their money if she didn't immediately respond to him. Amouranth said that he also threatened to leave her with $1 million and take the rest of their money with him.

After some radio silence, Amouranth returned to Twitch in a stream where she gave fans an update on the situation. In the return stream, Amouranth indicated that her husband was getting help for his behavior and that she had regained control of her finances. It was unclear if Amouranth would return to her grueling Twitch streaming schedule, but she has now announced that she is taking an indefinite break from content creation. Amouranth made the announcement on her official Twitter account, stating that she is not sure when she will be back.
