Among Us developer Innersloth continues to robustly support its online social deduction game with post-launch content and updates adding new quality-of-life features. In its latest developer log, Innersloth broke down the latest Among Us patch, confirming the addition of anticipated changes. Not only will there be newAmong Us cosmetic Cosmicubes available to spend Stars and Beans on, but the store has received some polish and clarity will be provided regarding official Sanctions.
To start, Innersloth is adding two new Cosmicubes to Among Us, each with their own new food-inspired cosmetics. As is becoming routine, one Cosmicube will be available for Beans and one for Stars. The first is named the Snack Cosmicube and costs 2,500 Beans. It includes ice cream, eggs, cheese, lollipops, and even a chef's suit. The Feast Cosmicube costs 110 Stars and includes similar snacks, as well as a loaf of bread dog, a jelly mini-companion, and a hot dog suit, among other cosmetics.
Among Us Teases Changes Coming in Future Updates
The next most substantial change to Among Us has to do with overall polish for the game's storefront. Those opening the store will find a new up-front Featured section, which will focus on the latest cosmetic content added to the game. A new tab has also been added in the store for purchasing Stars. There are also new sorting options in the store, allowing Among Us players to sort by what's new. Lastly, Cosmicubes are now appropriately marked if they're time-limited and have visual indicators to point out which cosmetics and Cosmicubes have already been purchased.
One other substantial change, a change that's surprising it hasn't been addressed before, has to do with Sanctions — in-game bans and punishments.
