It has been over a year since Bear Brown and the rest of the Alaskan Bush People stars lost Billy Brown, but the king of extreme is making sure to keep his memory alive with a Father's Day post. Bear, who is about to have his second child, is trying his best to live up to his father's expectations. Every day is a learning experience that the star feels his dad would be proud of.
Fans learned Billy passed away back in February of 2021 after suffering from a seizure. After starring in 12 seasons of Alaskan Bush People, the Wolf Pack were devastated by the loss and left to pick up the pieces on North Star Ranch. Bear was the first to announce the patriarch's death and revealed Billy was an outstanding father, husband and grandfather who would be missed. Since then, Bear has taken it upon himself to live up to his father's name and become the best father he can be to his children.

Bear took to his Instagram over the weekend to give a special shoutout to his dad on Father's Day. In the post, Bear shared a few family photos, which showed Billy in his prime. One photograph showed Billy standing near his beloved wife, Ami Brown. At the same time, another showed a close-up selfie of the father and son smiling. Bear sent greetings to all the dads out there, noting that the day was hard for him because he missed his own father greatly. Bear wrote, " It is a great honor and privilege to be a dad!"
