A new trailer for A Plague Tale: Requiem has been released by the developer ahead of the game’s release next month. Picking up six months after the events of the first game, A Plague Tale: Requiem reintroduces players to Amicia and Hugo De Rune as they embark on another adventure in a rat-infested world.
Asobo Studio recently confirmed that players can expect A Plague Tale: Requiemto last between 15-18 hours, which is significantly longer than the original’s approximate 10-hour runtime. However, the team has stressed that the follow-up wasn’t larger in scale for the sake of it, but rather the run time fits the story. In support of this message, a new story trailer has been released that teases what gamers can look forward to on October 18.
A Plague Tale: Requiem Confirms Cast
In the latest trailer for A Plague Tale: Requiem, players see the return of Amicia and Hugo De Rune as they settle into their new life in Provence, France. The happiness appears to disappear quickly as thousands of rats descend on the village, bringing with them the deadly black plague and a mysterious illness that befalls the younger sibling. Viewers are then treated to a taste of gameplay as Amicia is seen sneaking up on numerous enemies before taking them down as well as showcasing new weapons such as smoke bombs that extinguish torches to attract rats to enemy locations.
Fans of 2019’s A Plague Tale: Innocence will also be happy to hear that Hugo will see an expanded role in Requiem.
