Bleach fans may have something to look forward to, as it seems a new game in the popular franchise could be in the works. If it does indeed see the light of day, it would join the over two dozen Bleach games that have been developed since 2005, one year after the anime's original airing.
The long list of Bleach games began with the Playstation 2 fighting title Bleach: Blade Battlers in 2005, which spawned a sequel in 2007, both of which were Japan-only releases. Since that time, the franchise has released several more fighting games while also dipping into other genres like side-scrolling action and tactical RPGs. In 2018, it was announced that some of the most popular Bleach characters would be added to Jump Force, an anime crossover fighting game that would release the next year.

The last fans saw was back in 2020 with Bleach: Immortal Soul, a turn-based gacha card game released on mobile devices, and the Steam release of the 2015 mobile game Bleach: Brave Souls. But the drought may be over: A United States trademark has recently been filed for the title Bleach: Soul Resonance. The trademark is, as of this writing, still in the pending/active status. But the file states that the title will be used for an entertainment product/service that will be developed for «online computer games» on «mobile phones, personal computers and handheld computers.»
The document goes on to state that the trademark will also cover downloadable software under the Bleach: Soul Resonance title on Mobile, PC, and handheld. It does not specify which platforms the game in question will appear on, and the inclusion of mentioned devices on the file could simply be a case of the
