Fans of 90 Day Fiancé season 9 watched Miona Bell travel to Rapid City, South Dakota to be with Jibri Bell, but the Serbian woman originally hails from a city called Niš. Miona will be experiencing a dramatic lifestyle change during season 9, as she must adjust to rural life in Rapid City. Before 90 Day Fiancé newcomer Miona joined Jibri in the United States to begin a new life, she had a different existence in Niš.
Jibri was presented as a 28-year-old musician with a kind heart and eccentric style. However, his fiancee Miona is not coming off as sympathetic after the first two episodes of season 9. Miona is not pleased that Jibri is living in South Dakota with his parents, so he can save cash since he spent so much money traveling with her. He also lost money when he stopped performing with his band during the COVID-19 pandemic. This left Jibri unable to afford his lifestyle in Los Angeles. However, Miona is determined to move to Hollywood or another major city in the United States.

Miona has traveled around the world for glamorous vacations, but she said that her mother and sister have never even been on a plane. They live a very different kind of life back home. Niš is the third-largest city in Serbia, and it is located in the south of the country.
