The Batman will see Robert Pattinson's Dark Knight lose control of Gotham City, according to a recent interview with the star. The eagerly anticipated Batman reimagining is due to hit theaters on March 4, and already footage has hinted at a much darker and more gritty portrayal than previous iterations of the character. Twilight star Pattinson was eventually cast as the Great Detective after Ben Affleck left the role back in 2017. The British actor, who is reportedly a huge Batman fan, has admitted he obsessed over The Batman role for a year before finally winning the part.
