As Under the Banner of Heaven draws to a close, its cast surely brings their A-game. The near hour and a half runtime of the finale delivers the closure the series needed. From the strong performances from Andrew Garfield, Gil Birmingham, Wyatt Russell, Sam Worthington, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Denise Gough, to the gut-wrenching connections the writers crafted, there is a lot to appreciate and value in what the Hulu series has to say. With so many unanswered questions heading into the finale, it was difficult to imagine how the series would pull off everything tastefully, and yet, it pulled off its best episode.
