Developed by Declan de Barra, the fantasy series is set 1200 years before the events of the Henry Cavill-led hit and before the infamous Conjunction of the Spheres. This cataclysmic event saw multiple universes merge into one, resulting in the birth of chaos magic and a variety of unnatural creatures inhabiting the world with humans. The Witcher: Blood Origin will explore the events leading up to the Conjunction, as well as the creation of the first Witcher and the Elven civilization in their prosperous years before they were wiped out by humanity.
