Though three other actors are currently donning the mask, Keanu Reeves says playing Batman would be a dream. Since making his debut with 1939's Detective Comics No. 27, Batman has become a cultural landmark within the superhero genre, expanding far past the pages of the DC Comics to a mammoth media franchise including films, TV shows, video games, theme park rides and more. Batman would make his live-action debut with the 1943 eponymous serial, which saw Lewis Wilson star as the Dark Knight and Douglas Craft as his sidekick Robin.
