If Hannibal season 4 ever gets off the ground, there's one unseen legacy character the show should explore. Brian Cox made a real impression with the role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter during his brief screentime in Manhunter, director Michael Mann's adaptation of Red Dragon. Sadly, that 1986 thriller went underseen upon release, and it was Anthony Hopkins' chilling turn as Lecter in The Silence Of The Lambs that made the cannibal therapist a horror icon. Hopkins returned to the role twice, while the late Gaspard Ulliel played the part in 2007 prequel, Hannibal Rising.
