Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness would follow in 1987 and 1992 before Raimi left fans craving for a fourth Evil Dead film for years. While a true Evil Dead 4 never came to be, the franchise would return in 2013 with Fede Alvarez’s reboot and Campbell made a triumphant return in Ash vs. Evil Dead a few years later.
