1917 & Candyman Actors Cast In Drag Queen Revenge Thriller Femme
George MacKay, who played the everyman hero in the critically acclaimed World War I drama 1917, and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett of Nia DaCosta's Candyman, are set to star in a thrilling drag queen revenge tale titled Femme. MacKay is a British film actor who has been acting on the stage and screen since he was a child. Still, his role as Lance corporal William Schofield in Sam Mendes' Oscar-winning film 1917 brought the actor to an international audience. Stewart-Jarrett is a fellow British actor who's also done work for the stage and television, but his most recent role on the silver screen was as Troy Cartwright, whose tales of the lore around 'Candyman' set his sister's boyfriend (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) off on a path of artistic obsession.
