Tekken 8 sales top three million; DLC character Anna Williams announced

Bandai Namco has announced Tekken 8 downloadable content character Anna Williams, who will launch on March 31 for Character Year 2 Pass owners and April 3 for all users.

Sales of the game have also now surpassed three million units. Tekken 8 was last reported in February 2024 to have sold two million units.

According to Bandai Namco, the three million sales milestone was achieved at a faster pace than predecessor Tekken 7, which has sold over 12 million copies to date.

Following the release of Anna, the following additional downloadable content is planned via the “Season 2 Character & Stage Pass”: Summer 2025 – New Stage and Character Fall 2025 – New Character Winter 2025 / 2026 – New Stage and Character Tekken 8 launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on January 26, 2024.
