Team Cherry: Hollow Knight Silksong is "real, progressing and will release"

Australian developer Team Cherry has had to confirm that the eagerly anticipated follow-up to Hollow Knight, Silksong, is still happening.

That's going by the studio's marketing and publishing bod Matthew Griffin, who replied to a tweet questioning whether the project was still in the works.

The Team Cherry staffer said td that Silksong is "real, progressing and will release."  Silksong was announced back in 2019.

Originally, it was to be DLC for Hollow Knight but grew into its own game. Since then, precious little has been shared about the project since.

In fact, there has been more or less radio silence on the matter since a trailer at the June 2022 Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase implied that the title would be coming to Game Pass by June 2023.
