Super Evil Megacorp appoints Ian Fielding CEO

Studio head Ian Fielding is the new CEO at Super Evil Megacorp. He joined the company back in 2021 as studio head having previously worked at the likes of Riot Games and Insomnia.

Super Evil Megacorp's previous CEO, Kristian Segerstral, is becoming executive chairman of the studio.  "It's been an honour to work closely with such a talented leader as Kristian Segerstrale, and I look forward to collaborating with him in his new role," said Fielding. "I'm excited for the future of Super Evil as we begin to realise the long-term plans we have in motion to grow Super Evil into a top-tier independent studio with world-class talent that creates unforgettable shared gaming experiences." Segerstrale added: "I am very proud of what we have built as a long-lasting independent games company.

Our recent years' success is largely thanks to Ian's stewardship. "We see an enormous opportunity ahead and I believe Super Evil is set up to succeed with Ian as CEO, as the business leader helming our incredibly committed team."

Mai gameplay trailer for Street Fighter 6 has dropped
Capcom has released a new gameplay trailer for Fatal Fury’s Mai, who is part of Street Fighter VI’s Year 2 Character Pass. The trailer shows her facing off against Chun Li and Ryu in two different bouts, wearing two different outfits, both from her Fatal Fury wardrobe. Mai has been part of the Fatal Fury series since Fatal Fury 2, which released back in 1992.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is a new RPG from former The Witcher 3 devs
Back in October, Bandai Namco and new studio Rebel Wolves agreed a publishing deal for Rebel Wolves new RPG, at the time named Dawnwalker. Rebel Wolves was founded in 2022 by the game director of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz. He has been joined by other CD Projekt RED alumni, including Chief Publishing Officer Tomasz Tinc, and Narrative Director Jakub Szamałek. Today, the first cinematic and gameplay teaser for The Blood of Dawnwalker has been released.
