Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League hasn't been enjoying much success since launch, with Warner Bors. having practically branded the game a failure and the majority of the game's fanbase having dropped off due to unpopular story choices and generally unsatisfying gameplay.
Season 1 of the game's promised post-launch content was a chance to turn those fortunes around though, but Rocksteady has allowed that chance to slip through its fingers in pretty dramatic fashion.
One of the biggest parts of Season 1 was the introduction of The Joker, a popular villain that many promised to try out once Season 1 dropped, to give Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice another opportunity to leave a lasting impression.
Unfortunately, those that have gone to try out The Joker are less than impressed, as the character has been locked behind a new progression system that forces players to grind through old missions for several hours.
To unlock The Joker as a playable character, you need to beat Braniac again, but progression has been reset with Season 1's new map.
