Stardew Valley Fan Wishes There Was A Way To Bring This Furry Companion Inside During The Cold Winter Nights

A fan has raised an interesting point about a feature missing from the game. Having pets is a major part of the experience. Although they're incredibly easy to care for (just add water), they're nice to have around the farm, and the feeling of satisfaction you get from raising their affection levels to the max is unparalleled — even compared to some of the full-fledged romanceable companions.

But some fans wish they were more than just mildly interactive decorations, suggesting a new feature that could quite literally change the game.

In a Reddit thread, user Few-Site1112 asked whether it was possible to bring their dog inside at night to keep him warm and toasty.

They explained that it pains them to leave the dog outside during winter, and accompanied the question with a screenshot of their player character and dog wearing matching Beanies.

Unfortunately, though, there's no official way to bring your pets inside in. While they'll often wander in and out of your house independently, there's no way to control them, or summon them to your side.
