It’s bloody freezing out and about in the UK right now, so I hope you’re all keeping nice and toasty with some added layers, fashionable scarves and silly bobble hats, as needed.

But despite the chill over here, the games industry in doing its stretches and warming up for the year. Things are going to start getting really interesting again in the next few weeks, after the slumber that always settles in over the end of year holidays.So without much further ado, let’s get to the news…There’s a heavy degree of 2024 catchup in our review pool this week, as you’d expect, though we are on to some early 2025 releases.And we had a new gamepad review as well, which has got a teensy little screen built into it.Away from the reviews, we had one big preview, and it’s a real doozy. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is shaping up very, very well after the first 8-10 hours spent with the game.
