SMITE 2 first alpha weekend has been dated

The first SMITE 2 alpha weekend will be taking place from May 2nd to May 5th, Titan Forge Games has confirmed. These alpha weekends will be taking place every weekend afterwards too, until SMITE 2 reaches 24/7 closed beta later this year.

Players can register their interest in taking part through the official website, with a selected number being chosen. However, those who buy the Founder’s Edition, Deluxe Founder’s Edition, or Ultimate Founder’s Edition will have guaranteed access.“We are excited to welcome players to the first Alpha Weekend event.

SMITE’s success is thanks to its community, and without them we couldn’t have ever imagined making SMITE 2. That’s why we at Titan Forge are looking forward to seeing players breaking the game, telling us what they like and dislike, and inspiring us with new ideas – all to make SMITE 2 a great game.”, said Travis Brown, General Manager at Titan Forge Games.SMITE 2’s alpha weekend will contain 14 playable gods, and the reworked Conquest mode.

The SMITE 2 alpha will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and it will be running in Unreal Engine 5. When SMITE 2 launches properly, all of the gods from the original SMITE will carry over as well.

The show was my introduction to its world, and the ending only inspired me to dive deeper in the worlds of the video games that inspired the show. Marquee zombie survival shooter DayZ has a new expansion coming this fall, its first in nearly five years. DayZ Frostline will introduce the frigid new Sakhal archipelago, a sprawling 83km² map—that's about 32 square miles of frigid islands and volcanic peaks. A debut trailer and screenshots show off industrial facilities, mines, pipelines, and oil derricks in tundra environments. Those same shots, however, are interspersed with steaming sulfurous pools, volcano cones, and rugged rocky shorelines.
