It's looking increasingly likely that the 2015 Wii U exclusive Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is coming to the Nintendo Switch at some point in the near future.
It's no secret that the Wii U was a sales failure for Nintendo, and so the company's decision to port many of the platform's biggest exclusives to the Switch made a lot of sense.
The Switch has enjoyed all kinds of Wii U ports since 2017, starting with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which was released simultaneously on both platforms.
In fact, one of the Switch's most successful games, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, was originally a Wii U game. The Wii U's failure really helped bolster the Switch library, with ports of games like Super Mario 3D World and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze going a long way to help ensure that the Switch never endured a content drought quite like the Wii U did.
There are still some Wii U exclusives that have yet to find new life on other platforms, with one such game being Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.
