Pokemon Fan Shows What a Ghost-Type Magikarp and Gyarados Would Look Like

gamerant.com

A talented Pokemon fan has created Ghost-type versions of Magikarp and Gyarados. The two monsters have received all sorts of makeovers from artists.

Both Magikarp and its evolved form, Gyarados, were among the initial 151 Pokemon that debuted in the beloved Japanese media franchise's first generation of games for the Nintendo Game Boy.

While Gyarados, a Water/Flying-type, has the appearance of a large and intimidating sea serpent, its previous form, the Water-type Magikarp, resembles a gentle koi fish.

One Pokemon fan has come up with new versions of Magikarp and Gyarados that give both monsters terrifying looks. Posting on the Pokemon subreddit, user Just-Drawing-Mons shared their Ghost-type Magikarp and Gyarados.

The fan design depicts the two monsters as being largely composed of just bones, with a few body parts providing accents by emitting a sort of ephereal, ghost-like blue glow.
