Mario Wonder's Elephant Plush Is Finally Available Outside Of Japan

Even though Nintendo still hasn't confirmed it will be releasing the Switch's successor in 2025, one look at its 2024 slate serves as relatively concrete evidence that's the case.

There are still games coming, but there's an argument to be made that the last tentpole release on the Switch was Super Mario Bros.

Wonder. A game famed for turning Mario and his supporting cast into elephants, and fans in Japan were lucky enough to then see Elephant Mario turned into a plush soon after.

Nintendo was so confident in the success of Wonder, and Mario fans falling in love with its mascot in an elephant form, that it revealed the plush before Wonder had even been released.

However, it was only available in Japan. While it's never a sure thing, especially when it comes to Nintendo, if a product like this sells well enough in Japan, then it will likely be released elsewhere, and that has now happened with Elephant Mario.
