When you first enter the endgame in , you're presented with the Atlas Skill Tree, which allows you to customize your endgame.
Whether you want more currency or a variety of other options, you can change it around to your heart's content. With a fair amount of choice on offer, you'll want to take care to optimize each Atlas Tree point spent so as to maximize the value you get from all the grinding you'll be doing in maps.
This means focusing on things like 's currency drops, Waystone drop chance, and rare monsters (given the vast majority of loot comes from rares).
Early on, you'll need to focus on 's Waystone sustain, which means grabbing most of the Waystone nodes and then focusing on rarity, quantity, and currency for smooth progression.
