The CEO of NetEase-backed Anchor Point Studios, Paul Ehreth, has said that the developer is safe The exec took to Twitter to respond to concerns from both peers and consumers, assuring them that his outfit had not been affected by the wave of studio closures and layoffs that NetEase-backed ventures have been experiencing recently.
Ehreth went on to say that Anchor Point is actually hiring at the moment. "I wanted to make a more formal statement that Anchor Point Studios has not been affected by any studio closures, and we are still full steam ahead building our game," he wrote. "So far, NetEase has been a great partner for us, giving us creative control and development support, and we look forward to the prospect of shipping an exceptional game together in the future.
