Kingdom Hearts 4 will launch next year, according to entertainment leaker Daniel Richtman. This would almost definitely guarantee another trailer this summer, which would be the first major update since the game's reveal more than two years ago.
While Richtman often leaks details on TV and film, this comes just days after he also claimed that a Kingdom Hearts adaptation was in the works.
He hasn't given us any indication that the two are related, so it's not clear how this supposed project would adapt the game series.
Richtman's latest leak comes via Patreon, and was shared in the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit. This would be a relatively quick turnaround, given that fans had to wait six years between the reveal and release of Kingdom Hearts 3.
With that in mind, it seems that few were expecting a 2025 release date for the sequel to be thrown around, even if it's just a rumour at this stage.
