has launched into early access on Steam, but the reviews are «Mostly Negative» thus far. The latest title by Heart Machine comes after, which was very well received by fans according to the Steam reviews.

While all reviews should be taken with a grain of salt, most of the ones seen here bring up the same issues. There are, of course, several positive reviews sprinkled in on Steam, claiming that is visually stunning and a lot of fun. On the other side of the coin, fans discuss the issues they have with the title, which appear to revolve around combat and exploration being a low point.

developed by Heart Machine, launched into early access this morning. The description of the title promises an ever-changing and vast world to explore, viscous enemies to conquer, including bosses, a plethora of builds to change out, and loot to collect. Some players understand that the game is in its early stages, as this is early access, while others are a bit upset over the optimization and the combat feeling unforgiving and lackluster.

One review by Pumpkinhead reads, Now, I have only just started playing Breaker for not too long so take this with a grain of salt.

I do not like it so far. The movement and combat feels way too stiff. Dashing around doesn't feel as fast and fluid as it did in the first, parrying is a nice addition but the animation is way too long and trying to figure out when you can parry at the end of an attack/ dash/ parry This seems to be the overall consensus players share in their reviews, as they feel that the combat is «hectic» and «too fast» to keep up with. This can be a major downfall for a title within the rogue-lite genre, as being able to time a parry and dodge powerful attacks is the difference between life and death within these types of games.
