First RTX 5090 image leaks online, offers memory insight

The first image of Nvidia’s unannounced GeForce RTX 5090 card has appeared online, ahead of a planned CES keynote on Monday.The image, published by Videocardz.com, offers the first look at Nvidia’s new flagship video card and confirms it’s set to feature a significant 3.5-slot thick cooler.The packaging image also offers the first confirmed memory configuration.

This particular model from Inno3D is set to include 32GB of GDDR7 memory, which is reportedly twice the capacity of the 5080 model.The RTX 5090 is expected to utilize a GB202 GPU and will be the only SKU in the RTX 50 line to feature this processor.

5090 is expected to include 21,760 CUDA cores and operate at a Thermal Design Power of 573W – 125W more than its predecessor.Nvidia is expected to officially unveil the GeForce RTX 5090 during its CES keynote, which is due to take place in Las Vegas on Monday at 6.30pm PT.The company will likely announce its 50 series graphics cards during the keynote.

Retail listings for an RTX 5050, 5060, 5070, 5080, and 5090 have been found online, suggesting the announcement could be imminent.Nvidia will also supply parts for Nintendo‘s forthcoming successor to the Nintendo Switch.
