Currency Conversions Coming with Patch 4.4.0 on April 30 - Cataclysm Classic

In preparation for the Cataclysm Classic pre-patch, Blizzard has elaborated on conversions for Justice Points, PvP currency, and more.

Players can expect this system to go live after the weekly maintenance next week. Greetings!As we prepare for the release of the Cataclysm Classic pre-patch next week, we want to update you on some of the currency conversions that will take place during maintenance.

Just like the original transition from Wrath of the Lich King to Cataclysm, the currency systems used for purchasing many items in Cataclysm Classic will change.

Justice PointsEmblems of Triumph and Emblems of Frost will be converted into Justice Points, and there will be a cap, as detailed below.

All emblems and badges that are lesser than Frost and Triumph will be converted into gold. This includes legacy badges, such as Badges of Justice.

Why the Paladin Seals of Command Bug Needed To Be Fixed
As some of you may have already seen in your own raid groups, Paladins were able to capitalize on an unintended interaction between Seal of Righteousness, Seals of Command, and the Tiny Abomination in a Jar trinket after the Cataclysm Classic pre-patch launched. This allowed Paladins to deal unfathomable amounts of damage, to the point where the number calculations would often freeze or crash the game. While this isn't the only bug that the pre-patch launched with, the Seals of Command bug was quite literally game-breaking, both in terms of causing performance issues when triggered, as well as completely trivializing content (with some Paladins even going as far as being able to solo mobs in Icecrown Citadel). With the bug already fixed by Blizzard, we wanted to break down exactly how it functioned, and what the cause of it was.
