Blizzard is aware of an issue that is limiting players from progressing their Archaeology profession, and they are working on a fix.
We had to approach this issue in two steps. First, we fixed the bug a couple of days ago, so that it won’t happen to players who max their Archaeology.Second, we’re working on a fix for players who hit that point before the first hotfix.
This fix is a work in progress, and we don’t have an ETA on it just yet. Apparently after today’s hotfix, cata digsites will start to appear once you have grand master archeology learnt.
Here is from some no-lifer guilds:“Dont Learn Grand Master, so your max is 375/375 Only Farm EK and get as much Dwarf done as possible till you exhaust all the rares beside the Staff that only can appear at 450.
Dont get Max Skill (450/450) til you have 200Fragments saved, as much of Keystones saved as possible and your 4 dig sites are all dwarven ones.
