Are You Playing Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii? | Push Square

Believe it or not, it's already time for a brand new Like a Dragon adventure — although this one's not your typical Yakuza title.

In fact, it's probably the most out-there take on the franchise yet (PS3's Yakuza: Dead Souls aside). Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is another 'shorter' game — just like last 2023's Gaiden — starring the one and only Goro Majima.

The Mad Dog himself is back in the lead role for the first time since Yakuza 0 (or Yakuza Kiwami 2 if you really want to get technical about it), and as the title implies, he's taking to the high seas aboard his very own pirate ship.

We had a lot of fun with this one, giving it a solid 7/10 in our Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii PS5 review.

We described it as «a thoroughly enjoyable side game» and «a flamboyant distraction between mainline entries». Noah's arc But are you partaking in this pirating escapade?
