Every full-time and part-time career in and its DLCs has an associated promotion cheat. In addition, cheats can be used to demote a Sim who has been promoted too soon.
While there are many good reasons to use career promotion cheats, including creating a Sim with the ideal high-paying career and job title from near the start of the game, the decision to use cheats in will ultimately come down to a player's personal preference.
