Alien: Rogue Incursion has been announced for PSVR 2, Meta Quest 3 and Steam VR, in a dream come true for VR gaming fans of Alien: Isolation.
The single-player action-horror VR game will be coming out in Holiday 2024.The Alien game project has been in development for the last two years at VR specialists Survios.
The company burst on the scene with the dawn of VR with Raw Data in 2016, before bringing the rapid releases of Sprint Vector, Electonauts and Creed: Rise to Glory through 2018.There’s a rich pedigree for Survios and VR, in other words, but really the main reason why people will be excited for Alien: Rogue Incursion is because of 2014 game Alien: Isolation.
The celebrated horror game was once shown as being playable in VR prior to release, and fans have long wanted to see a VR version of the game released – hopes that will sadly never be realised at this point.
