Gotham Knights could be coming to Nintendo Switch 2, according to a developer’s resume.
As found by Doctre 81 (spotted by Universonintendo), a developer who claims to have worked on Gotham Knights has listed the game on his resume for two unannounced platforms.
The first of which is expected to be the Nintendo Switch,due to the game having previously been rated for Nintendo’s console. However, the other “unannounced platform” seems likely to be the Nintendo Switch 2.
Gotham Knights suffered performance issues on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles at launch, leading many to believe that a Nintendo Switch port would be unlikely. The Nintendo Switch version of the game may have been ported to Nintendo‘s unannounced console, with the Nintendo Switch 1 version quietly canceled.
Nintendo has yet to officially reveal its Switch successor, but the company has confirmed plans to do so during its current fiscal year, which ends in March 2025.
In the absence of official news, a large number of alleged leaks have emerged, claiming to show the console off in various states. The first alleged images of Nintendo’s Switch successor appeared online in September, showing a design that’s not too dissimilar from the company’s current-gen console.
Then, earlier this week, alleged images of Switch 2’s internal hardware components appeared on Reddit. If accurate, the images appear to confirm previous hardware spec rumors suggesting that the new console will again be powered by Nvidia hardware.
