TikTok popularity has been steadily growing in the past couple of years, and now, the video-focused social networking service is giving more attention to its web app, starting by allowing the users to edit profile info on the desktop. Unfortunately, TikTok doesn't have a native app for Windows or Mac at the moment. However, users can always access the platform by visiting the website through the browser, like Facebook and Instagram.
TikTok has been testing and releasing several new features in the past few weeks, including and not limited to the TikTok's watch history feature, which allows the users to find the recently watched videos— aka TikToks— in case they forgot to like or add them to favorites. The company is also testing a dislike button for comments. This is to help fight against spam. TikTok also recently added a picture-in-picture player and background audio player to its app. This enables users to watch or listen to audio from a video outside the app.

While users can utilize many features on the phone app, there is less that they can do on the desktop. It's mostly limited to uploading a video to their account, without the cool features. It's now possible for TikTok users to edit most of their profile information through the desktop version.
