The Xbox & Bethesda Gaming Showcase 2022 event is just two days away, and expectations are high that Xbox will feature a variety of exciting games for release in late 2022 and 2023. Before the Xbox and Bethesda show arrives, however, the celebration is starting a bit early. Xbox's annual Deals Unlocked Sale typically arrives during E3, but with E3 being canceled this year, the event's starting a bit abruptly. Over 500 games will be discounted starting now through June 23.
Discounts during the Xbox Deals Unlocked Sale range up to 90% off, though individual game discounts will vary wildly and start based on full retail pricing. The sale also supports most Xbox platforms, including Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Additionally, more than just full games are included in the sale, with add-ons, DLC, expansions, and various in-game currencies also being discounted for the duration of the sale.
Some Xbox Gamers Are Getting Free Store Credit
Several first-party Xbox Games Studios titles are discounted for those who aren't interested in Xbox Game Pass. Both Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite, Xbox's two biggest recent first-party releases, are both discounted. Other Xbox games including Sea of Thieves, The Elder Scrolls Online, Psychonauts 2, and more have also gone on sale. For Xbox gamers hoping to catch up on the latest exclusives, this is an affordable opportunity.
There are a number of other featured AAA game releases included in the Xbox Deals Unlocked Sale, too. LEGO: Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, and Dying Light 2 are all discounted at least 20% off. Sports titles like NBA 2K22, Riders Republic, and WWE 2K22 have also been heavily discounted. There should be plenty of options to choose
