WWE 2K23's base game will have 178 wrestlers on the roster, with even more superstars available to those who get the Ruthless Aggression and Bad Bunny bonus packs. Last year's WWE 2K22 was a big success and a massive improvement for the franchise after the universally-panned WWE 2K20. Many WWE fans are excited to see if WWE 2K23 can keep the momentum going strong, and while that remains to be seen, things are looking bright for the new game.
WWE 2K23 will add the WarGames match and make gameplay improvements across the board. While competing in WWE matches, players will have quite a large selection of wrestlers to choose from, with a whopping 178 wrestlers confirmed for the base game's roster alone.

The WWE 2K23 roster includes a large portion of the modern stars from the current Raw, SmackDown, and NXT television programs. Basically everyone that has had a major presence on WWE TV in the last couple of years is included on the roster, alongside plenty of legends. Some of the WWE 2K23 legends include Andre the Giant, Booker T, two variations of Hulk Hogan, «Stone Cold» Steve Austin, Triple H, The Rock, and many others.
Those that pre-order WWE 2K23 will have an even bigger roster of fighters at launch. Anyone that pre-orders WWE 2K23, or springs for the Deluxe or Icon editions of the game, will also be able to play as Grammy Award-winning rapper Bad Bunny. While some fans who haven't watched WWE in recent years may be confused by Bad Bunny's inclusion on the WWE 2K23 roster, he's made multiple appearances for the company, even competing in and winning a match at WrestleMania 37.
