Players have to head to the New York Times Games website to play Wordle now. While there are many copycats, clones, and versions of Wordle, some of the rules and answers may be different from what is listed here in this article. Once at the site, players will need to choose a great starting word; it must be five letters long and a real English word.
While everyone seems to have their own strategy for winning, players should pick a starting word with a good distribution of commonly used Wordle letters like L, R, S, T, and should also include two vowels. Once a starting word is chosen, type it into the NYTs Wordle website and press enter. The letters will then change color to give players some clues as to the real answer.
Players then have five more tries to get to the answer.
