Lone developer Luca Galante's Vampire Survivors has been in early access since late last year but is set to get a full release on October 20. Vampire Survivors fans have been using the growing arsenal of weapons to dispatch droves of enemies since early access began in December 2021, but the full experience is just beginning next month.
Since Vampire Survivors' early access began, Luca Galante has kept fans updated on what to expect from future patches through videos on the Poncle YouTube channel, and the latest post is mostly a hype montage on how far the game has come. The aforementioned YouTube channel recently released this update trailer for Vampire Survivors which concludes by revealing the October 20 release date, bringing the Halloween-themed game out just days before the spooky holiday. Given the regular alterations made to Vampire Survivors so far, October's 1.0 patch may just be the first of many in the game's full release content roadmap as weapons and abilities or enemy types are adjusted.

As the video goes on to highlight different months, the gameplay and relevant statistics change to reflect the time that had passed. By the final month of September with the Vampire Survivors 0.11 client, the Vampire Survivors character list has reached 24, with 14 extras and one guest, the weapons and power-ups reached 72, there are 7 major relics, 10 stages to choose from, and a whopping 22 Arcanas.
