Former Cloud9 and current Twitch streamer Macaiyla has recently been banned for a long enough time that she felt like she needed to apologize to her fans. The 23-year-old Twitch personality has also made it clear that her latest punishment could be the wake-up call she needed.
While getting into trouble with the streaming platform can be a badge of honor for some of the personalities on the site, it doesn't appear that's ever really been the goal of Macaiyla. While she has had her fair share of issues over the year, she's not really considered someone like Amouranth, who routinely gets accused of going and looking for drama. However, the popular streamer finds herself in a bit of hot water with the platform, and barring a reversal of her most recent ban, she'll be taking an extended break from the site.
Twitch Bans DrLupo For 7 Days
The Twitter account, StreamerBans was the first to break the news about Macaiyla, announcing she had been banned, though as is its practice, it didn't divulge just how long she would be sitting out. The streamer herself confirmed not long after that she had indeed suffered a suspension and noted that it was for a full two weeks. She also made it clear that she will be appealing the ban and hoping to get back on the air sooner.
In acknowledging the ban, the popular Twitch streamer admitted she was hit with the punishment for «hateful conduct towards a group» while also claiming that it wasn't towards Koreans or Asians. Beyond that, Macaiyla wouldn't clarify if she knew which group she was accused of spewing hate toward or what the context of the allegation was.
