Home of the Altmer, or High Elves, Summerset Isle is an archipelago province off the coast of mainland Tamriel consisting of three main islands: Summerset, Auridon, and Artaeum. Summerset Isle has a rich history and is believed to be the landing place of the Mer, a collective term for the elven races that include the Altmer, Bosmer, Dunmer, and Orsimer. Summerset Isle is famous for housing two of the most well-known groups in Tamriel, the Thalmor and the Psijic Order.
