is a horror game covered in mystery much like, the game it was the most inspired by. Its newest story trailer delves a little more into that mystery in addition to showing Karen Fukuhara’s previously announced character.
Fukuhara, most known for her role on, plays Danny Nakamura, a leader of a resistance group in the game that is also imprisoned with the protagonist, Josh Duhamel’s character, Jacob Lee. Fukuhara had spoken about her role in a Comic-Con interview, but Striking Distance Studios hadn’t shown her in the game until now. However, given how Duhamel and his character share the same face, it was likely going to be the same for Fukuhara.
The rest of the trailer touches on Black Iron Prison and some of the gruesome monsters that stalk its halls. Again, most of it is either fittingly shrouded in darkness and is left in a way that leaves more questions than answers.
Players will have to wait until December 2 to get those answers, but it’s not completely clear if that applies to everyone. The game’s PR only specified that the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions were hitting that date, failing to mention the PS4 and Xbox One ports. We’ve reached out for clarification on those versions and will update this article if we get a response. Seeing as how ‘ last-gen versions were delayed and how ‘ PS4 and Xbox One ports were outright canceled, any sort of abnormalities with these two editions is not out of the realm of possibilities.
