Rocksteady’s upcoming DC title Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has been delayed until 2023. This spin-off to Rocksteady’s critically-acclaimed Batman: Arkham series was first announced during 2020’s DC Fandome livestream event and will put players in control of the mad-cap antiheroes of the Suicide Squad, tasked with murdering the Justice League after they are taken over by a mysterious entity that many suspect is longtime Superman foe Brainiac.
More information about Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League was revealed during The Game Awards 2021 livestream in December, which debuted another trailer that pitted the Squad against The Flashand showcased each members unique skill set. These include Deadshot and Harley's expected use of guns by way of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League's over-the-shoulder shooting mechanics, King Shark chowing down on his enemies using his razor-sharp teeth, and Captain Boomerang's surprising use of superhuman speed to go with his trusty namesake. More eagle-eyed fans have also noticed some clever Easter Eggs hiding within the latest Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League trailer, such as the team's prison uniforms corresponding to each members respective comic book debut.

Bloomberg reporter and gaming journalist Jason Schreier just shared an article announcing that Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has been delayed until at least next year, as revealed by people close to the development team. The official reason for this is still unclear at this time, but fans replying to Schreier’s Twitter post suspect it might have been done to avoid competition with Gotham Knights, another WB Games-produced
