DLC for Star Wars Battlefront II almost included Ahsoka Tano and Assajj Ventress, as confirmed by former game director Dennis Brannvall. The sequel to Star Wars Battlefront's reboot was roundly criticized when it first released in 2017 because of its reliance on microtransactions despite being full-price, but the game eventually developed a devoted playerbase after adding wealth of free DLC content over the years.
