The upcoming horror game Scorn has received new gameplay footage, which shows the prologue of the title and introduces some prominent mechanics and details. Surprisingly little has been released about Scorn thus far, and now seems like the perfect time for fans to learn more about the title. Scorn will be coming to gamers in mid-October, and the newest gameplay seems to deliver on promises of gruesome horror.
The title will be one of nine games appearing on Xbox Game Pass in October and will take players through a creepy and unique journey. The story will follow a character who has awoken in a strange place and is trying to find a way to escape. Of course, the evil of the surroundings is much more dangerous than it may seem.

In a recent YouTube video posted by Xbox, players can see eight minutes of the Scorn prologue. The title looks beautiful and eerie, with many crisp details and subtle fog that almost make the game's aesthetic reminiscent of the dungeons from Skyrim. The title begins to forge a feel of its own, however, once the player gains an item that allows for environmental interactions. The item is a sort of spike and bracelet that is imbedded in the main character's hand in a rather disturbing moment of discovery.
Fortunately, the key then provides some examples of what players can expect from Scorn. There were many puzzles that the key was used to solve, from opening doorways to transporting a bloody body to an odd chamber.
