A new rumor suggests that Sony might be planning to host a new PlayStation State of Play livestream in March - one that could finally reveal the release date for the highly-anticipated God of War Ragnarok. So far, 2022 looks to be an exciting year for the PlayStation brand, with Horizon Forbidden West already launching to positive reviews earlier this month, and more blockbuster first-party exclusives like Grand Turismo 7 and the next God of War title set to arrive later on.

This virtual event focused on the upcoming Grand Turismo 7, but other State of Plays have shown off multiple games both large and small. For example, October’s PlayStation State of Play event revealed the latest installment of Square Enix and Tri-Ace’s long-running Star Ocean series, Star Ocean The Divine Force, along with a new Bugsnax expansion and more.
