Instead of looting guns of different rarities and putting on body armor, fighters in Rumbleverse are running around Grappital City learning awesome Special Moves, drinking Protein Pods, and earning Perks to knock each other's lights out up-close and personal.

The final aspect, AKA Perks, is a part of this game that a lot of Rumbleverseplayers «think» that they understand but actually don't, at least not entirely. So, with that in mind, let's go over what they are exactly, how they're unlocked throughout a match, and what Perks players should always keep an eye out for.
Perks in Rumbleverse are essentially Passive Effects that players can unlock mid-match that give background bonuses, modify how certain moves work, or a variety of other effects. There are Perks that reduce how much Stamina certain systems use, ones that add extra effects to the basic combo string, and ones that add ways for players to heal outside of just the standard chicken scrounging.
And, depending on the Perk, even beginner players can suddenly become much more difficult to fight. Depending on how lucky a player is, a single Perk can absolutely mean the difference between making it to the final ring and winning or getting KO'd in the mid-20s.
To unlock Perks during either a Solo or Duo Queue Battle Royale game, players will need to pay attention to the Meter in the bottom right of their screen, as well as the Icons that will start popping up underneath it.
