After being called upon by the cosmic heroes known as the Vindicators, Rick and Mortyquickly learn that their universe has its own version of Marvel's Infinity Gauntlet, and it’s totally inappropriate. It’s no secret that Rick and Mortyhas deep-seated disdain for the superhero genre, especially Marvel, so it’s no surprise that Rick and Morty’s version of the Infinity Gauntlet would be absolutely ridiculous. However, while clearly a parody, Rick and Morty’s Infinity Gauntlet is no joke and makes one lesser-known Rick and Mortycharacter insanely powerful.
In Rick and Morty Presents: The Vindicators#1 by J. Torres and CJ Cannon, an evil multiversal villain has risen and is hunting powerful orbs containing cosmic energy that, when used together, will grant him the power to reshape the universe as he sees fit. Given the extent of this great threat, the Vindicators swallow their pride and recruit Rick and Morty to help them in efforts to stop the villain. Morty is overjoyed to receive the call from the Vindicators while Rick reluctantly agrees to help, and together they take off after the Thanos-like villain to save the universe.

While the plot to this comic is actually intriguing with the added fun of putting a Rick and Mortyspin on the story, fans are quickly reminded that this comic is nothing more than an avenue which Rick and Morty use to poke fun at Marvel Comics. The cosmic orbs the villain is after in this Rick and Morty issue are called the Infinity Balls, and the way to manipulate all of them together is through the Infinity Glove.
